The Military Workout which takes place at Danes Park Chepstow is owned by Personal Trainer, and Master Military Workout Trainer Tessa Legg.

Tessa is one of only of two Military Workout Trainers to gain Master Trainer status in the UK at present!

Danes Park in Chepstow offers an outstanding facility for our outdoor Military Workout classes. The park offers hills, stairs, trees and open flat areas, offering a wide variety of workout options. Also being close to Chepstow town centre, perfect for after-session socialising!

From the M48, take the Chepstow exit and follow signs to Chepstow Racecourse. Stay on the A466, through the traffic lights, past the turning to the Community Hospital. Take the next right onto Kingsmark Lane and then the second right onto St Kingsmark Avenue. As this road starts to head downhill, there is a layby on the right hand side (just past the right-hand turning into Stuart Avenue), with the park next to it (NB: the park is quite hard to see from this angle as it is down in a dip).

NOTE – there is limited parking in the layby, but all the surrounding streets have free parking. Please park courteously, so as not to upset local residents.

If you are attending Military Workout Chepstow  for the first time, please follow these steps…

  1. Download, print and complete this Health History form and bring it to your first workout. Please arrive 20 minutes before the start of your first class. If you answer yes to any of the questions this does not mean that you cannot take part, but please contact Tessa Legg on 07985274976 to discus.
  2. Email your park instructor on tessa@tessaleggfitness.com to book your first workout. She will respond with a confirmation email.
  3. If you are aged 45 or over or severly overweight. Please contact Tessa prior to attending Military Workout to discus your suitability.
  4. If you have not had your blood pressure checked in the last 6 months (regardless of age) You must pre book an appointment to have it checked, prior to the commencement of the class. Please contact Tessa if you have any questions regarding the classes.

If you are in any doubt regarding your suitability for exercise, or of your current level of fitness, please seek the advice of your GP in the first instance.
