Are you the next Military Workout Instructor  in Thorpe/Chertsey

Thorpe JB (waterski) Park is an outstanding facility for our outdoor Military Workout classes. The park offers hills, a small beach and various interesting tracks and trails around the lake.

This class was thriving, but due to the instructor re locating, the classes stopped taking place. If you are a fitness professional, minimum level 2, in the Thorpe/Chertsey area. Come to the next Military Workout Trainers course in March 2017. Clients who love Military Workout are already waiting for you.

Directions

From the M25 north exit at Junction 13 (Staines) and follow Thorpe Park signs. At the Thorpe Park entrance continue straight on to a roundabout where you will see brown signs for Thorpe Waterski.

From the M25 south exit at Junction 11 (Chertsey) and follow Thorpe Park signs, until you see the Thorpe Water ski sign, then follow that.

NOTE  there is no entry to the site from the M3 other than going from the M3 to the M25 and choosing one of the junctions mentioned above. The entrance to the site is on the B388 running between Thorpe Village and Chertsey.

If you are attending one of our classes for the first time, please follow these steps…

  1. Download, print and complete this Health History form and bring it to your first workout. Please arrive 20 minutes before the start of your first class. If you answer yes to any of the questions this does not mean that you cannot take part, but please give us a ring to discuss.
  2. Email your park instructor to book your first workout. He/She will respond with a confirmation email.
  3. If you are aged 45 or over or severly overweight. Please contact your instructor prior to attending Military Workout to discus your suitability.
  4. If you have not had your blood pressure checked in the last 6 months (regardless of age) we strongly recommend that you arrive 30 minutes prior to the start of the class to have this checked. Please inform us beforehand that you wish to have your blood pressure taken.
  5. Bring your own water/drink. There is a water fountain at Thorpe, across the bridge at the side of the cafe. You can fill your water bottle here.

If you are in any doubt regarding your suitability for exercise, or of your current level of fitness, please seek the advice of your GP in the first instance.
